Agricultural field spraying boom

The spraying boom is pivot amounted to swing about an axis parallel to the direction of travel. The ends are fitted with the sprung blades (16) which like the boom to the ground (13). The stabilisers slide over the ground and control the spacing of the boom over the ground. The stabilisers comprise elastic strips loaded with ballast. The ballast has weights linked into a flexible chain, inside an elastic hose.
