The snow shoe includes a framework 1 surrounding a mesh structure 16 whose front part is perforated for the passage of the front of the shoe. The shoe is fastened on to the snow shoe by a fastening comprising a stirrup piece 2 mounted pivotably on the frame 1 along a transverse axis 8 in order to hold the front of the shoe, and comprising a heel piece 10 for holding the heel of the shoe.
