PURPOSE:To shorten the charging time by using phthalocyanine having an electron feeding group as a negative electrode. CONSTITUTION:Phthalocyanine having an electron feeding group is used as a negative electrode. The electron feeding group is e group having the electron inductive effect, e.g.,-NH2(amino group),-OH,-OR(R is an alkyl group),- NHCOCH3,-R, and-NH2 is one of preferable ones because of its easiness for synthesization. It is desirable that many electron feeding groups exist in phthalocyanine to the extent possible. In phthalcoyanine having electron feeding groups on the negative electrode side, the phthalocyanine skeleton is polarized to negative by the low-voltage, short-time charging, thus many negative charges are charged, and they are discharged by a discharge. On the other hand, many positive charges are charged on the positive electrode material on the positive electrode side, and they are discharged by a discharge. |
