PURPOSE:To surely check the infiltration of a molten metal into a valve chamber and to prevent the breakdown of the title device by closing the valve body of an upper part engaging degassing device by detecting the passage of the molten metal with the degassing groove of a die and closing a valve seat with the pressurizing due to the collision of the molten metal to the valve body as well. CONSTITUTION:The molten metal 7 poured into the cavity 4 of dies 1, 2 exhausts the inner part air from a degassing device 16 through a degassing groove 10 and the molten metal 7 passing through the degassing groove 10 is detected by electrodes 41A, 42B or an ultrasonic transmitter-receiver primary, secondary coil, etc. On the other hand a valve body 24 is released by the pressing the switching valve 27 of the chamber 25 at an upper part rod side of the valve body 24 connecting piston 22 of the metallic die degassing device 16 engaged with a metallic die sleeve aperture 11 by a hydraulic cylinder 14 and the valve body 24 release is maintained by the pressurizing of a main chamber 31 at the rod side by changing over to a switching valve 35 release. A switching valve 39 is released by the detection signal, a sub-chamber 32 at the rod side is pressurized and the valve body 24 is closed with its ascent. The infiltration of the molten 7 into a valve chamber is surely checked together with the mechanism instantaneously closing the valve body 24 by linking the pressurizing inside the main chamber 31 with the inside of the sub-chamber 32 with the collision of the molten metal 7 with the valve body 24 and the breakdown of the degassing device 16 is prevented. |
