PURPOSE:To reduce the vibrations of moving coils, and to miniaturize and thin a positioning device by forming structure in which a pair of upper and lower flat moving coils are disposed and held to a coil bobbin. CONSTITUTION:A positioning device is constituted in such a manner that a plurality of fixed magnets 1 being magnetized in the vertical direction and shaping an upper and lower pair and a yoke 2 consisting of a high permeability material are fixed and a closed magnetic circuit is organized, and a moving body in which flat moving coils 4-5 are fastened to the upper and lower sections of a coil bobbin 3 is inserted into air gaps among the magnets 1. A pair of the upper and lower moving coils 4-5 are adjoined to the fixed magnets 1 in the magnetic circuit constructed of the fixed magnets 1 and the yoke 2, and structure in which the moving coils 4-5 are not arranged to the intermediate sections of the upper and lower fixed magnets 1 in which the magnitude and direction of magnetic flux density are dispersed maximally is formed. Accordingly, a region in which the moving coils 4-5 and magnetic flux cross at right angles is spread, and a force-constant uniform region can be extended.
