PURPOSE:To surely supervise a synchronizing system without being affected by a line fault by using a line utilized for the time synchronizing control so as to supervise the maintenance disable state of the synchronizing system based on a line fault between stations utilized for the time synchronizing control so as to eliminate the need for other line. CONSTITUTION:Figure shows the time synchronizing supervisory method, and the synchronization of a station A is dependent on that of a station B, a station C on the station B, a station D on the station C, and the station A depends on the station D. If a fault takes place in a line from the station A to the station B (faulty point a), the station B detects it that it cannot depend on the station A, sends a flag F1 to the station A for the notice thereof. The station A receives the flag F1 from the station B to recognize that the synchronizing system is disconnected between the stations A and B. Thus, other line not used for the time synchronizing control is not required and the synchronizing system is surely supervised without being affected by the fault of the line. |
