PURPOSE:To make any breakdown due to dislocation of an axial center of a bearing inner ring and a spindle rod part or the like preventable from occurring, by setting the hub spindle rod part or the like after positioning it in a state of coming into contact with a collar on the bearing. CONSTITUTION:After an alignment process of a collar 35, a press unit is operated, separating an upper press-in jig 20 and a lower press-in jig 22 from each other in the axial direction, and they are put back to each stand-by position. And, an oil seal 52 and a snap ring are set up in each vertical part of a bearing, and a hub H is set to a proper position for fitting it in an inner ring 34 of the bearing. At this time, the collar 35 is in the specified position proximate to an inner port end at the upper part of the inner ring 34 of the bearing, so that a free end of a spindle rod part 51 of the hub H is supported on an upper end face of the collar 35. Therefore, it can be easily positioned at a proper position where the spindle rod part 51 of the hub H accords with an axial center of the inner ring 34 and, what is more, it can be tacked so as to keep the state.
