<p>The oscillating wiper device comprises an elongated multi-element wiper-arm (16, 116, 216, 316) of which the inner support arm (30, 130, 230, 330, 430), provided with an oscillating support element (36, 38, 136, 138), serves as a guide (34, 134) for an external support arm (32, 132) carrying a wiper blade, said guide (34, 134) allowing a rotary movement of the external support arm (32, 132) around its longitudinal axis. In order to ensure a constantly optimum position of the wiper blade (18) for each region of the windscreen, even when of spherical curved design, the wiper device is provided with control means (40, 41, 44, 46, 140, 141, 144, 146, 250, 252, 254, 245, 247, 360, 380, 154, 149, 150, 452), which confer on the external support arm (32, 132), a rotary movement around its longitudinal axis, derived from the oscillating movement.</p> |
