PURPOSE:To improve efficiency and save electric power by sending the output condition of a Rankine engine in the form of detected temperature difference between a heat collector-generator and a condensor to a control circuit to controllably drive and stop the engine and auxiliary motors and engage and disengage a clutch according to the respective output conditions of the engine. CONSTITUTION:When temperature difference DELTAt between a heat collector-generator 1 and a condensor 3 is less than a set value DELTAt1, respective signals are sent from a control circuit 7 to stop a working fluid pump 4 while a clutch 9 disengages a compressor 11 from an expansion machine 2 and an auxiliary motor 10 drives the compressor 11. Next, when DELTAt is larger than DELTAt1 and less than a set value t2, the circuit 7 sends respective signals to run the motor 10, the pump 4 and a Rankine engine while the clutch 9 connects the expansion machine 2 to the compressor 11 to transmit power. Also, when DELTAt is larger than DELTAt2, the circuit 7 sends respective singals to stop the motor 10 while driving continuously the pump 4 and operating the clutch 9 to run a cooler only with the expansion machine 2. |
