<p>A simply constructed product ejecting apparatus for an electrically operated straight-acting mold clamping system, which does not require any driving power source for a product ejecting member, and which is capable of reducing the length of an ejection rod-driving rod. A rod (15) is fixed to the platen-side end portion of a ball screw (4) for driving a moving platen (1). This rod is made axially immovable, and capable of being engaged with and disengaged from an ejection plate (11) which is formed integrally with an ejection rod (10) provided slidably in a bore (9) in the platen. When the platen is moved back, the ejection plate moving unitarily with the platen engages the rod (15). When the platen is further moved back, the rod projects the ejection rod into a metal mold, which is fixed to the platen, against the resilient force of a spring (12), which is provided between the ejection plate and platen, and via the ejection plate, whereby a molded product is ejected.</p> |
