PURPOSE:To enable composition without image overlapping by erasing an area wider than a specified area corresponding to masking and leaving an area narrower than the specified area corresponding to trimming. CONSTITUTION:When the desired area on an original is specified by a tablet input part, a control part 27 calculates the number of LEDs 16a to be turned on in an eraser consisting of an LED array facing a photosensitive body and illumination continuance from a coordinate signal. Then when masking or trim ming is selected, one LED16a each corresponding to the Y coordinate is added to both sides and turned on or off, and the turn-on or -off continuation is in creased by one pulse of a rotary encoder as compared with a time corresponding to the X coordinate. Therefore, an area to be erased at the time of the masking or left at the time of the trimming is set smaller and the composition is carried out without image overlapping. |
