Composite label with a base sheet which is provided on its reverse side with a contact adhesive allowing peeling of the base sheet from a supply substrate and adhering of the base sheet to a useful substrate and with a cover sheet which is entirely or partly bonded to the base sheet with a releasable fastening, is firmly bonded to the base sheet along a section and, after release of the releasable fastening, can be folded back by sections or entirely, the supply substrate preferably being a smooth paper which allows easy peeling off of the base sheet, the base sheet having a number of peelable labels which are provided with a contact adhesive on the reverse side.
