PURPOSE:To obtain head moving mechanism switch is small-sized and has a high reliability by setting a ratio of a length of a link being adjacent to a link to which a head is fitted, and a length of a driving part of a bimorph, to a specified value. CONSTITUTION:A plane four-joint link mechanism is constituted by sticking reinforcing plates 5, 6, 7 and 8, so that a joint of the reinforcing plates becomes a hinge having no play. A head 11 having a sound recording gap 9 and a reproducing gap 10 is fixed to the inside of one link of the four-joint links, and the reinforcing plate 7 being a link opposed to said link is fixed to a head fixing base 12. A ratio of L1 and L2 in the figure is set to 3.5/3-4.5/3. According to such a constitution, a bend of a bimorph 14 is obstructed by the link, and not stretched against each other. The head moves in the upper and lower directions, a force to be matched with a tape tension is generated in the Y direction, and a force received by a friction of a tape is generated in the X direction, but both those forces are received by the four-joint link mechanism, therefore, a load born on the bimorph is small. |
