PURPOSE:To relax the concentration of an electric field in the end section of a foil-shaped winding, and to apply the titled transformer to high voltage and large capacity by disposing an electrostatic ring at the same potential as the end section of the winding to the end section of the foil-shaped winding and supporting the electrostatic ring to an insulating cylinder forming a main clearance. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic ring 13 for a foil-shaped winding constituting a low-pressure winding is mounted to the end section of the outer circumferential side of the foil-shaped winding 5 along the end section. The electrostatic ring 13 is fixed to the upper inner surface of an internal insulating cylinder 2a forming a main clearance between the foil-shaped winding 5 and a high-pressure winding 7 by inserting insulating fitting cords 15 into fitting holes 14. With the electrostatic ring 13, a section extending in the axial direction of the foil-shaped winding 5 takes a longitudinal oval in contrast with a wide high-pressure side electrostatic ring 8 extending in the radial direction of the winding, and it is positioned on the extension of the outermost circumference turn of the foil-shaped winding 5. That is, width in the radial direction is formed narrowly because clamping force in the vertical direction is not applied. |
