PURPOSE:To prevent an end cutting edge from being chipped as well as to aim at the miniaturization of a throwaway tip, by attaching the throwaway tip to an end mill point in separating from the axis of an end mill body, and forming a core storage concave part in the central part of this end mill body. CONSTITUTION:Almost a half of a point of an end mill body is cut down and set down to a chip pocket 22. A chip seat 23, whose bottom surface 23a is formed into V-shaped form, is formed in a point at the outer circumferential side of a wall surface partitioning off this chip pocket 22, a throwaway tip 24 is attached to this chip seat in a state of separating from an axis O of a body 21, whereby this tip 24 is prevented from moving on the V-shaped surface. And, a core storage concave part 25 extending in the axial O direction is formed into section semicircular form in the central part of a tip surface of the body 21. If so, the workpiece cut with the tip 24 by its axial cutting is going to be cut as being formed with a core, and this core is housed in a storage space 25, thus the core is shaved off by crossfeed cutting.
