In order to be able to subject a boiled cured product, e.g. boiled ham, which was packaged under vacuum in shrink-wrap pouches, to the boiling operation without cooking moulds, and to prevent leakage of water or loss of jelly during this, the shrink-wrap pouches are sealed under vacuum by an outwardly curved circular weld seam.
