PURPOSE:To prevent the external surface of a skin material from staining by leaked raw material by a method wherein foaming resin stock is poured through a lanced part in the hollow skin material and the lanced part and a soft foamed sheet are restored so as to block the lanced part and, after that, the foaming resin stock is expanded. CONSTITUTION:A molding toll 11 has a molding surface the same as the outline of a hollow skin material 22, through the lanced part 24 of which a part of a bearer 18 is inserted in the hollow skin material 22. The bearer 18 consists of a part, which locates in the hollow skin material 22 and mainly serves as reinforcement, and a part called as a stay, which locates outside the hollow skin material 22 and serves for mounting a headrest. In succession, a soft foamed sheet 28 having intercommunicating-cell structure is fitted the stray part of the bearer 18 and positioned so as to opposingly contact a lanced part in such a manner as to block the lanced part 24 with the soft foamed sheet 28 from the inside of the hollow skin material 22. The preferable soft foamed sheet 28 is soft polyurethane foam, vinyl chloride resin foam or the like. Especially, the optimum soft foam sheet is to be material the same as the foamed resin stock, which is poured in the hollow skin material 22, to provide unity appearance. |
