OZONIZER AND PRODUCTION OF AQUEOUS OZONE BY USING SAME

PURPOSE:To efficiently ozonize gas contg. high-moisture oxygen by impressing high voltage between a plate electrode provided on one surface of a dielectric material and a linear electrode provided while keeping a discharge interval wherein oxygen-contg. gas is allowed to flow from the other surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical dielectric material 2 closed in one end is arranged in a vessel 1 and a plate electrode 3 is pasted on the inside thereof, closely stuck and fixed. A support 7 is provided to the outside of the above-mentioned dielectric material 2 while keeping a discharge interval 8 from the side wall thereof and a linear electrode 9 is provided on the surface in a coil-shape. Then oxygen-contg. gas such as air and pure oxygen is introduced into the vessel 1 through an inlet 11 and passed through the above-mentioned discharge interval 8. Furthermore high voltage is impressed via a feeder 4 and brush feeders 6 between the plate electrode 3 and the linear electrode 9 to generate silent discharge. Thereby ozone is generated from the above-mentioned gas and taken out through an outlet 12. This ozone is brought into contact with water under pressurization to produce aqueous ozone. The exhaust gas contg. ozone discharged from this contact zone can be recirculated as oxygen-contg. gas for ozonizing without dehumidifying the gas.
