PURPOSE:To enable the correction of machining configuration without need for changing the configuration of a copying face by providing a correcting member which is expanded and contracted by means of inputted signals into a tool rest interlocked with a cam follower which is brought in contact with the copying face of a lead cam, and making a tool displaced. CONSTITUTION:When a lead face 8 having a configuration corresponding to the copying face 6 of a lead cam 4 is to be machined on a cylinder 7, an XY table 9 is controlled so that a cam follower 22 is brought in contact with pressure to the copying face 6, and a tip tool 21 is brought in contact with the lead face 8. Here, if the configuration of the lead face 8 is desired to be corrected, by inputting its correcting data in a correcting data signal generator 27, the correcting data are compared with the reference data of the copying face 6 configuration, correcting signals according to the difference in configuration are inputted in the correcting member 14 of a tool rest 11 being synchronized with the rotation angle signal of a main shaft 1 by means of a rotation angle detector 26, the correcting member 14 is contracted by means of piezo-electric effect causing a movable part 13 to displace the tool 21, and the configuration of the machining lead face 8 is corrected. Thereby the machining configuration can be changed without need for changing the configuration of the copying face. |
