PURPOSE:To decrease the time for information exchange and to minimize the possibility of erroneous information exchange by selecting an input face and a recording face to the same side face of recording paper so as to read a picture again and to make transmittable after the picture is retouched. CONSTITUTION:In writing a character or graph on recording paper 7 on the input face 8 and in applying transmission, the recording paper 7 is carried in a direction of arrow, a read head 5 reads a picture and a picture signal is sent to other equipment via a communication line and the picture is recorded on the recording paper 7 by the recording head 6. On the other hand, the recording paper 7 is carried similarly as the sender side in other equipment and the recording head 6 records the picture on the recording paper 7. When the transmission of picture is finished, the picture recorded by the sender side and the receiver side comes to the position of the input face 8 and in desiring to write something on the picture, the picture recorded on the recording paper 7 of the input face 8 is subject to addition and the sending is applied again.
