PURPOSE:To omit timing design and to simplify the structure of the titled circuit by controlling the passage of a unit quantum magnetic flux pulse based upon a unipolar pulse inputted to an input line in accordance with a logical input. CONSTITUTION:When a control current is allowed to flow into a control line 4 in accordance with a logical input, e.g. logic '1', a closed circuit 3 is excited and a shielding current is allowed to flow into the closed circuit 3. The internal magnetic flux PHIi of the closed circuit 3 is in the 1st quantum state (a) at that time, and when a unipolar pulse is supplied to the closed circuit 3 through the input line 5, the closed circuit 3 is switched to a voltage state and the internal magnetic flux PHIi of the closed circuit 3 is transferred to the 2nd quantum state (b). At that time, a voltage pulse corresponding to one magnetic flux quantum is generated on both the ends of the closed circuit 3 and a current pulse is outputted to an output line 6. When the logical input is '0', a control current does not flow into the control line 4, so that the internal magnetic flux i of the closed circuit 3 is zero, and even if a unipolar pulse is inputted to the input line 5, magnetic flux quantum transfer is not generated in the closed circuit 3. Thereby, a current pulse is not extracted from the output line 6.
