PURPOSE:To prevent an unregistered data from being lost at the failure of page updating by providing a detecting means detecting the number of remaining lines in the current page to the terminal side of an on-line banking system. CONSTITUTION:A terminal 10 is connected to a host center 11 through a data line 4. The terminal 10 is provided with a page detector 13 and a remaining line number detector 14 and data indicating the page and the number of remaining lines are informed to an unregistered data transfer requesting part 16. The data in the unregistered data transfer requesting part 16 is sent from a telegraphic message transmission/reception control part 20 to a transfer request receiving part 22 through a telegraphic message transmission/reception control part 21 in the host center 11. The transfer requesting part 22 segments unregistered data NB in a ledger and transfer the data NB to the terminal 10 through a transfer part 25. If page updating is failed when the page updating is required, the NB is stored in the host center 11 and the bankbook is returned. Thus, the unregistered data at the failure of page updating can be prevented from being lost. |
