<p>PURPOSE:To decrease the number of tape speed reference values by measuring a pulse period generated attended with tape movement at special reproduction mode based on a generated pulse attended with the rotation of a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A pulse generated in response to the rotation of a cylinder 12 is inputted as the clock pulse of counters 15S, 15T and a reel pulse generated in response to the rotation of S, T reels 1, 2 is used as a reset pulse and the counter data just before reset is latched by latch circuits 16S, 16T respectively. After the latched data is squared by squaring devices 5, 6 and added by an adder 7. A difference between the output and a reference value from a reference generator 8 is obtained by a subtractor 9 and it is used as an error signal, which is fed to a motor control circuit 11 to control a reel motor 10, thereby keeping the tape speed constant.</p> |
