PURPOSE:To input a line drawing directly by reading and processing input information from a keyboard and a means which senses a holograph and inputs its movement quantity and direction or position. CONSTITUTION:A CPU101 receives data inputted from the keyboard 102 and performs processing such as 'KANA'(Japanese syllabary)-to-'KANJI'(Chinese character) conversion and control over a display device 103, a printer 104, an external storage device 105, etc. Graphic data, on the other hand, is reproduced in a work area by the CPU101 according to holograph information on an input pen. The graphic data is reproduced in the work area 106 as a temporary file in a data format suitable to graphic data processing. The graphic data generated in the work area 106 is developed as bit image data and transferred to a VRAM107, so that the data is displayed on a display body 103. An operator performs operations for correction, registration, editing etc., through a tablet 112 so as to generate the graphic data over a look at the display.
