PURPOSE:To accurately study the factor of a fault of a processor by writing the identification numbers given for each screen for operating guidance displayed on a display device into a 1st memory and then storing plural identification numbers traced back from the number set when the fault occurs into a 2nd memory from the 1st memory. CONSTITUTION:When a fault occurs, a fault processing program stores the read-out plural identification numbers traced back from the number set when the fault occurs into a prescribed track of a magnetic memory 21 together with the retrieved fault information. If no picture information is stored in a picture information memory 19 in a register mode, for example, owing to a fault, a series of display screens stored in a main memory 17 are displayed based on (n) pieces of identification numbers of an error log displayed on a display device 9. Thus it is possible to easily confirm whether a control part 15 is unable to carry out the binder retrieving process or unable to store the picture information in the memory 19 for the factor of the fault.
