<p>PURPOSE:To provide a recording liquid for ink jet recording, containing an oil-soluble dye or pigment, an oil-soluble resin, an organic solvent, a polyglycerol fatty acid ester and a polyoxyethylene compound, having excellent long-term storage stability and enabling stable printing. CONSTITUTION:The objective recording liquid contains (A) an oil-soluble dye and/or pigment, (B) an oil-soluble resin, (C) a polyglycerol fatty acid ester soluble in an organic solvent and solid at normal temperature and (D) a compound selected from polyoxyethylene alkylphenyl ether, polyoxyethylene alkylamine and polyoxyethylene fatty acid amide, as essential components. The image printed with the recording liquid has sufficiently high contrast and excellent water-resistance. The ink enables easy restarting of a printer after temporary halt of printing.</p> |
