Continuously, the data written into the defective block are read again by a buffer memory 11, and the data are written into a block SB for alternate processing designated by the alternate header 34 of the defective block are written. When the writing of the data to the block SB is completed, the writing checking to confirm whether or not the processing is normally completed is executed, the writing processing to the block is completed and preparations of the next block writing are executed.
