PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture, permit a larger size, prevent liquid leakage and improve the reliability by providing a header section with a header consisting a pipe continuous in the direction of plate fin stacking. CONSTITUTION:In a heat exchanging section 1, flow passages 4, 5 are formed by alternately stacking a plate 2 and a corrugated plate fin 3. Heating fluid outlet and inlet header sections 7, 10 and heated fluid inlet and outlet header sections 8, 9 are formed at either end the heat exchanging section 1, and a head spacer and a distance plate are respectively installed. After removing a part of pipe and applying a build up welding and a surface finishing thee, headers 19-22 each consisting of a half pipe are welded to the respective header sections. This way, the manufacture is facilitated, a larger size is possible, the headers becomes stronger, fluid leakage is prevented, and the reliability is improved.
