PURPOSE:To effectively remove the unnaturalness of the contour part of a composed image and to easily obtain a composite image of high quality by averaging image data according to its pattern data and composing the image. CONSTITUTION:Image data read out of an image memory 4 and image data read out of a data base 2 are averaged by an averaging process part 9b so that every four picture elements are put into one unit. IN concrete, when there are pattern data '0' and '1' at a part where four picture elements are one unit, the four picture elements are averaged. Namely, when pattern data is '0',input image data stored in the image memory 4 is read out as image data X on a background part. Further, when the pattern data is '1', image data Y on a spectacle frame part is read out of the data base 2. Consequently, there is no irregularity based upon four-picture-element units at the contour part of the image composed by insertion and the quite natural composite image of high quality is obtained. |
