PURPOSE:To improve preservable stability and sensitization efficiency of the titled composition by using a specific compd. as a sensitizing dye. CONSTITUTION:The sensitizing dye is composed of the compd. shown by the formula. In the formula, (n) and (m) are each 0-3, both (m) and (n) are not 0 simultaneously, (p) and (q) are each 0 or 1, L is a methine group, etc., R1 and R2 are each a substd. or an unsubstd. aliphatic hydrocarbon group, R3-R5 are each hydrogen atom, etc., Z1 and Z2 are each a non-metallic atomic group necessary for forming a 5- or 6-membered ring. The compounding amount of the sensitizing dye is 0.0001-20.0pts.wt. preferably 0.001-10.0pts.wt. per 100pts. wt. a photoconductive body. The sensitizing dye can be incorporated to a photosensitive layer solely of with combining said dyes. Thus, the sensitivity and the stability of the titled composition is remarkably improved. |
