PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for classification by storing data themselves in an optional area, e.g. the final area of a table and classifying only storage information in an index table according to the data values including new data. CONSTITUTION:A classifying means 300 array storage areas in the index table 200 for respective pieces of stored information 01-03... according to the sizes of corresponding data n1-n3.... Namely, when new data is registered, the data itself is stored in an optional area, e.g. the final area of the table 100 and only the stored data in the index table 200 is classified according to the data values including the new data. Consequently, information which is much less than data is only classified and the time required for the classification is shortened greatly.
