PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition having excellent abrasion resistance, coating film hardness and thick coatability, by compounding a composition containing a bisphenol A epoxy resin, etc., with thermoplastic resin powder and inorganic powder. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) 100pts.wt. of a resin mixture composed of (i) 5-40pts.wt., preferably 15-30pts. wt. of a bisphenol A phenoxy resin having an average molecular weight of >=20,000, (ii) 50-90pts.wt. of a bisphenol A epoxy resin having an average molecular weight of 300-6,000 and (iii) 5-50pts.wt. of a resin acting as a hardener for the composition (ii) (e.g., phenolic resin, amino resin, etc.) with (B) 1-200pts.wt., preferably 1-80pts.wt. of powder of a thermoplastic resin (preferably polyolefin resin, polyester resin or polyamide resin) and (C) 1-100pts.wt., preferably 1-50pts.wt. of fine powder of inorganic material (e.g. aluminum hydroxide).
