PURPOSE:To improve operability and superposition accuracy by viewing marks for positioning through an optical rotary structure and superposing polarizing film substrates at a specific position. CONSTITUTION:When two upper and lower polarizing film substrates 12 and 13 are superposed at the specific position, the marks 16, 17 for positioning are formed previously on the polarizing film substrates 12 and 13, and viewed through the optical rotary structure 20, e.g. TN (twisted nematic) type liquid crystal cell provided between the polarizing film substrates 12 and 14, which are superposed on over the other at the specific position. Linear polarized light transmitted through one polarizing film substrate 12 is rotated by nearly 90 deg. through the operation of the optical rotary structure 20 and transmitted through the other polarizing film substrate 13, so the visibility of the marks 16 and 17 for positioning is improved greatly. Consequently, the two polarizing film substrates 12 and 13 are superposed on over the other at the specific position with good operability and high accuracy. |
