ANTIREFLECTION PLATE FOR LUMINOUS DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain an antireflection plate which prevents dazzle and is resistant to flawing by coating a transparent hardener on the outside surface of a base material to impact specific fine ruggedness onto said surface. CONSTITUTION:The transparent surface hardener contg. an org. silicon compd. is smoothly coated as a 1st layer on at least one outside surface of the transparent base material and is dried; thereafter, the transparent surface hardener contg. the org. silicon compd. is further coated by spray coating as the 2nd layer thereon and is cured. The coating is so executed at this time that the coated surface has the fine ruggedness and the projecting parts thereof consist mainly of the projecting parts having 0.1-2.0mum height and 10-100mum diameter as well as 1/30-1/500 height/diameter ratio. The reflection of external light is thereby suppressed without hindering the discrimination of the display content as a cover of a luminous display device. The easily visible display is thus obtd. and the undesirable influence on human body is prevented.
