PURPOSE:To shorten a processing time without increasing a circuit quantity and to easily analyze the fault of a circuit by dividing a sector buffer into two systems and leaving transfer data of plural sectors in the sector buffers respectively, and obtaining the history of the transfer data. CONSTITUTION:While data transfer operation is carried out from one of a 1st and 2nd sector buffers 1 and 2 wherein data corresponding to one sector can be stored separately by plural sectors to a system bus, data transfer operation from the other sector buffer to a disk device is performed in parallel. Then, transfer data of plural sectors are stored in one sector buffer and if transfer data is wrong, a program sets addresses of the sector buffers 1 and 2 to be read in counters 3 and 4 and data are read out, so that the stored transfer data can be read out. Consequently, it is decided there is an error in transfer between the disk device and sector buffer or between the sector buffers 1 and 2 and system bus, thereby easily analyzing the fault of the circuit.
