PURPOSE:To enable hot air to reach farther by setting a first mode in which a vertical air deflecting vane and lateral air deflecting vanes are moved at any desired position and a second mode in which the vertical air deflecting vane is reversed and the lateral air deflecting vanes are directed to concentrate the air flow in a desired direction, said modes being selectible. CONSTITUTION:Apart from a first mode in which air can be blown in any desired direction by independently moving a lateral air deflecting vane 7 and lateral air deflecting vanes 8, a second mode is set in which the air flow passage section area is reduced by reversing the vertical vane 6 so as to permit the concentration of blown air by the lateral vanes 8. Since the air speed becomes greater even if the air blowing rate is low and the air flow is concentrated in one direction in said second mode, the blown air can reach farther. Therefore, hot air can reach father when the space heating is being performed, improving the comfortableness.
