发明名称 ALIGNMENT DISK
摘要 PURPOSE:To attain both coarse and fine adjustment of a magnetic head fitting angle by recording a magnetizing pattern of a prescribed length with different recording azimuth in the track direction alternately so as to be read in two kinds of long/short wavelength at least in a prescribed track. CONSTITUTION:The alignment disk using to adjust the angular deviation of magnetic heads fitted to a carriage in the assembling process of a floppy disk device is constituted as follows; that is,an azimuth burst having a longer wavelength and an azimuth burst having a shorter wavelength are drawn alternately at each track region corresponding to an inner angle of 60 deg. of the disk. In this case, the frequency of the burst read signal of a long wavelength is selected to 125kHz and the frequency of the read signal of the short wavelength is selected to 500kHz. Moreover, the +thetaA burst and a -thetaA burst are drawn alternately in each track region and the regions inbetween are subject to DC erasure. Moreover, a long wavelength index burst is provided to a position between the bursts subject to DC erasure.
