PURPOSE:To enhance the workability by detecting an output signal from a photocoupler at each elapse of prescribed time and restoring a tray mounted with a disk completed for reproduction to the storage position from which the tray is extracted. CONSTITUTION:A distance of a support 4 moved for a prescribed time is made constant and an output signal from the photocoupler 41 is detected at each prescribed time of elapse. Thus, an unoccupied storage position of a storage section 52 is detected attended with the movement of the support 4. Thus, the detector detecting the presence of each tray is not provided to each storage position of the storage section 52 and after a CD disk is reproduced, the CD disk is restored to the storage section together with the tray. Moreover, the presence of the tray at each storage position of the storage section is executed by measuring the time to restore the disk extracted from the storage section before application of power.
