PURPOSE:To obtain an effect of suppressing fogging even if an amt. of use is small and to prevent decrease in developing speed by using a specific development restrainer releasing compd. CONSTITUTION:The compd. expressed by the formula I is incorporated into the color diffusion transfer photographic sensitive element having a silver halide emulsion layer, dye releasing redox compd. and dye image receiving layer on a base. In the formula I, EAG is a group which receives electrons from a reducing material, N and O are respectively a nitrogen atom, oxygen atom, R<1>, R<2> are substituents except hydrogen atoms, Time is a group to release DIG by way of the ensuing reaction with the cleavage of the nitrogen-oxygen single bond in the formulas as a trigger, DIG is the part to form the development restrainer as a result of the release, (t) if 0 or 1 integer. The satisfactory effect of suppressing the fogging is thereby obtd. without decreasing the image completion speed.
