PURPOSE:To obtain a curable resin good in, especially, flexibility, solvent resistance and adhesion to an organic material, by copolymerizing a prepolymer formed by blocking a specified monomer having a C-C double bond with an isocyanatosilane with a vinyl monomer. CONSTITUTION:This curable resin is represented by formula 1 and has a number-average MW of 1,000-100,000. In formula 1, R1 is H or a 1-10C alkyl, R2 and R3 are each a 1-10C bivalent alkyl, aryl or aralkyl group, X is a hydrolyzable group selected from among halogens, alkoxyls, acyloxyls, ketoximates, amino, amides, aminooxy, mercapto and alkenyloxys, Z is a polymer unit derived from a vinyl monomer, m is an integer of 1-3, n is an integer of 0-100 and x and y are each an integer of 1-100. Said curable resin can be obtained by copolymerizing a prepolymer formed by blocking a monomer having both of a C-C double bond and an active hydrogen group in the molecule with an isocyanatosilane with a vinyl monomer.
