PURPOSE:To reproduce a line color sharply and uniformly even to an original such as a multi-color line graph by selecting a different color correction masking means depending on kinds of an original to be inputted. CONSTITUTION:Sets if color separation data (C, M, Y) of an original picture are fed to an address line 101 of a table memory 100. The content of the table memory 100 is divided into two by the most significant bit 103 of the address and results ZA, ZB of color correction subjected to arithmetic operation by using different masking coefficients are written in advance to memory areas of high and low order halves. In throwing an original selector switch 104 to the position of contact A, since logical 1 level is given to the line 103 and in throwing the switch 104 to the position of contact B conversely, a logical 0 is fed to the line 103, then either the color correction result ZA or ZB is selected depending on the input original and the result is outputted to the line 102.
