<p>PURPOSE:To improve the inserting work of a bar-shaped sponge rubber by providing an air gun which has a peripherally tapered shooting port capable of being inserted by pressure into the hollow seal section of a weather strip and shoots a bar-shaped sponge rubber with the air pressure. CONSTITUTION:When a sponge rubber 3 is to be inserted into the predetermined position of a weather strip hollow seal section 1, first the sponge rubber 3 is loaded into the tubular loading section 7 of an air gun 5 through a shooting port 9 side tapered on the outer periphery of the tip. Next, the shooting port 9 of the air gun 5 is inserted by pressure into the opening on one end of the hollow seal section 1, and the rear end side of the sponge rubber insertion position at the predetermined position of the hollow seal section 1 is pressed and partially blocked by a stopper member 15. Next, an opening/closing lever 8 is operated to open an air valve, air is injected into the hollow seal section 1 to inflate the hollow seal section 1, the sponge rubber 3 is shot through the shooting port 9 by the air pressure under this condition and filled into the hollow seal section 1.</p> |
