PURPOSE:To eliminate the instability of an arrangement of a pit train to between guide grooves and to reduce crosstalk, by switching the guide groove and the pit train at every other rotation of an optical disk master disk, and executing the exposure by a laser beam. CONSTITUTION:A guide groove 3 is brought to cutting in the peripheral direction from an arbitrary point C between a point A of the rotation center of an optical disk master disk 1 and a point B of the outside peripheral edge, and returned to the outside position of the start point C in a state shifted by a pitch P, by the rotation of the master disk 1 and the feed in the radial direction. A cutting signal is switched to a pit signal as soon as it reaches an A-B line, goes round while drawing a spiral, and as soon as a pit train 4 reaches the A-B line, the cutting signal is switched to the guide groove 3 again. In such a way, by executing alternately cutting of the guide groove 3 and the pit train 4, intergroove recording in which the pit train 4 is inserted and held by the guide groove 3 is executed. Accordingly, a highly reliable optical disk medium for scarcely generating crosstalk is obtained.
