PURPOSE:To decrease exfoliation and dislodgment and to improve corrosion resistance by thermally spraying an aluminum material in an oxidation atmosphere to a stainless steel base plate subjected to lath finishing, then coating a catalyst added with inorg. fibers thereon. CONSTITUTION:The aluminum material is thermally sprayed in the oxidation stmosphere on the stainless steel base plate subjected to the lath finishing and thereafter, the catalyst added with the inorg. fibers is coated thereon to produced the plate catalyst for removing NOx. The amt. of the aluminum material to be thermally sprayed to the stainless steel plate subjected to the lath finishing is adequately specified to >=0.1kg/m<2>. The amt. of the inorg. fibers to be added to the catalyst is adequately specified to >=1wt%. The resulted catalyst has a large amt. of the catalyst deposition on the base plate and the improved corrosion resistance. The rate of the exfoliation of the catalyst from the base plate is extremely lowered by the addition of the inorg. fibers to the catalyst coupled with the thermal spraying effect of the aluminum material. |
