<p>PURPOSE:To satisfactorily control a tape tracking position by feeding back the result of an output of a synchronizing pulse to a detecting condition of a synchronizing signal, and controlling the detection capacity of the synchronizing signal. CONSTITUTION:The detection capacity of a synchronizing signal is controlled by feeding back the output of a synchronizing signal detecting circuit 4, namely, the result of an output of a synchronizing pulse 41, to a detecting condition of the synchronizing signal in the synchronizing signal detecting circuit 4. In such a state, when a pseudo synchronizing signal is detected as a synchronizing signal and the synchronizing pulse 41 is outputted, the detecting condition of the synchronizing signal is set strictly so that the pseudo synchronizing signal is not detected as the synchronizing signal, and on the other hand, when the synchronizing pulse 41 cannot be detected, the detecting condition of the synchronizing signal is set leniently so that the synchronizing signal can be detected easily. In such a way, it does not occur that the pseudo synchronizing signal is detected as the synchronizing signal, and a tracking position of a tape can be controlled stably.</p> |
