<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the torque shortage of a motor when quick steering is performed while the motor is rotated and improve steerability by controlling the duty ratio of pulse signals fed to the motor determined by the steering force in response to the motor rotating speed. CONSTITUTION:A control quantity memory 201 and a correction value memory 202 inputting the signals outputted from a motor rotation sensor 50 and processed by an average rotating speed calculating circuit 200 to the control circuit 20 of a control unit 10 controlling the feed current to a motor 7 based on output signals of a vehicle speed sensor 1, a steering force sensor 2, and a tire deflection angle sensor 3 are provided. When the motor rotating speed is increased and the torque is decreased, the data for correcting the duty ratio are read out from the correction value memory 202 and fed to a pulse generator 203 so as to generate the constant torque in response to the motor rotating speed. Then, the duty signal tempered with the steering force, motor rotating speed, and vehicle speed is generated to control the motor 7.</p> |
