PURPOSE:To integrally form respective constitutional parts so as to have enough required strength by a method wherein a covering layer is formed by winding resin- impregnated reinforcing fiber round the outer surface of a hollow molded body made of thermoplastic synthetic resin and, after that, the molded body is subjected to pressing under the condition that hot air is being introduced in the interior of the molded body. CONSTITUTION:A covering layer with the predetermined thickness if formed by winding thermosetting resin-impregnated reinforcing fiber 26 under tension round the outer surface of a hollow molded body 20 made of thermoplastic synthetic resin. After being subjected to the predetermined machining, a hollow molded body 20' is arranged between a pair of vertical press tools 42. In addition, lateral press tools 44 are positioned to the lateral outer peripheral side of the hollow molded body 20'. The vertical press tools 42 and the lateral press tools 44 are heated up to the predetermined temperature. While hot air being introduced in the interior of the hollow molded body 20', under the heated state, the vertical press tools 42 and the lateral press tools 44 are closed. A polyethylene layer P, which forms the inner peripheral part of the hollow molded body 20', turns into molten state and a left side constitutional part 20a and a right side constitutional part 20b perfectly bonded into an integral body.
