PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of secret, by providing print order randomly to print data in a line buffer memory for storing a line of print data, and controlling a print mechanism such that the printing is carried out at right position according to said order. CONSTITUTION:Print data 5 having printing order provided by a printing order deciding section 1 is stored in a line buffer memory 2. A print control section 3 prints the print data 5 according to the printing order 6. At first, printing order 'T' is printed then 'i' is printed after single character space. Thereafter, 'i' is printed after two character spaces and 'a' is printed after two character spaces. Here, the print control section 3 controls a print mechanism 4 such that a print ribbon is not fed during spacing operation. Consequently, the print trace 7 on the print ribbon is considerably different from a print result 8 and hard to be read out. |
