PURPOSE:To enable a rear wheel to attain a high accurate steering control, by providing a solenoid valve in a fluid circuit, which communicates with right and left chambers of a rear wheel steering cylinder, and controlling said valve by an output signal of duty ratio in accordance with a steering angle of a front wheel and a car speed. CONSTITUTION:A rear wheel steering device 10 of a four-wheel steered vehicle has a hydraulic cylinder 7 which steers rear wheels 6 being associated with steering of front wheels 1. Here a hydraulic pressure circuit A, communicating with right and left pressure chambers 7a, 7b of the hydraulic cylinder 7, provides in the required position an on-off type solenoid valve 11 (sol. 3, sol. 4) which controls pressure fluid selectively supplied to one of the chambers 7a, 7b. This solenoid valve 11 is on-off controlled in a high speed condition by a controller 12 which feeds an output pulse signal by duty ratio in accordance with a degree of steering angle of the front wheel 1, detected by a steering angle sensor 20, and car speed detected by a car speed sensor 21. |
