Connected to a central control and storage units is a communication interface which communicates with a central lottery machine via an external mains. A feed-in unit receives a command to play from keys on the exterior of the lottery machine, and also a control command from a keyboard inside the machine. A calculator is connected to the central control and the data storage unit, and calculates the amt. of money inserted in the lottery machine. - A printing unit is also connected to the central control, and prints lottery-specific information on neutral tickets. All units within the lottery machine are connected to each other via a bus for transmission of data and control signals.
